Description

This work reflects my thoughts on value. When I was younger, catching a single beetle in the mountains felt like having everything. Nothing felt lacking. Now, however, I find myself surrounded by luxury goods and fine dining. Even after buying expensive clothes, the sense of value fades within days. That made me question whether value truly exists at all. From that question, I chose to depict a beetle like a jewel, rendered with the same warmth as my childhood memories. Through this contrast, I wanted to explore how easily value shifts, and how fragile it actually is.
